Finally, we have snow. I was pretty certain that we weren't going to get any snow at all this year. But we got this, didn't get a lot but Kaleigh and Hagen were excited to be able to make a snowman.

January is not the most eventful month, normally, but thanks to my super hero's it has been a little crazy.Thanks to little Boston donating his dress up to my kiddos we have not had a dull moment. Hagen lives in the batman costume. As soon as he comes home from school he dresses as up in his batman attire. You would think he wouldn't wear the gloves as much, but he does. He gets very sad when he has to take them off to eat dinner or even do homework. Poor kiddo!

We have been cleaning out the office and found the remotes to the cars that we bought at yard sales these past years. So we charged them all and Jared and the kids took them outside along with the cars Hagen got for Christmas. They had so much fun, they didn't even complain that they were cold.

Hagen eventually gave up on the cars and pulled out his skate board.

Here we are at Trafalga. This year we got the 7 peak pass of all passes. We play miniture golf at least once a month. The kiddos really enjoy it, plus it is kinda funny watching them.

My cute little Sidney graduated from Nursery! Cute little thing was so excited that she wouldn't even go into the nursery room that day. She kept telling the teachers that she was a big girl now. She is in a class with about 8 other little three year olds and they are so stinking cute.

Christmas 2011!!

Christmas is finally here! After much anticipation the day has finally come. And finally this year I wasn't the first one up. Hagen came upstairs and was really excited and after he woke up the girls, we were able to open gifts. We had a nice day, we were able to attend church and have a small family dinner. But most of all we were able to reflect on the many blessing that we have received through out the year and to also be thankful for the generosity of those around us in our time of need. We are so blessed and we have the most amazing ward and neighbors. Calvin wasn't sure what to think of it all but had a blast getting into all the gifts that weren't his.

Homemade Family Gifts 2011- Christmas Eve

So on Christmas Eve we have our little tradition where drink hot coco, read from the bible, and then the kids get their pajamas. But I don't think we need anymore pajamas so in an effort to help the kiddo's realize that Christmas is about giving and not what they receive we decided to draw names and who ever they got they would make a homemade gift. I think that overall it was a good experience and something we will continue.

Hagen had Sidney and he made her animal finger puppts Dad had Kaleigh and with the help of a co-worker he made a cute bracelet for her.

I had Calvin and I made him a cute pillow, crib size.

kaleigh had Mom and she decorated a picture frame for me with peace signs and bug stickers, since I call her bug.

Sidney painted a picture frame and drew a picture. She made sure Dad knew that he had two arms on his body in the picture. It was cute.

Calvin had Hagen and with the help of Mom we made him cute Star wars finger puppets. They were pretty awesome!

Santa Visits at the Smith Family Party

Oh, I am such a slacker. Here it is mid January and I am barely posting my December pictures. So, in December we have our Smith family party. We went swimming, at breakfast/dinner and then Santa came and we opened presents. Calvin wasn't very happy with Santa, he wanted nothing to do with him. He cried the entire time he was in the room until he left. Then he stopped. Poor little guy!

Aunt Holly finally came to visit us during Thanksgiving. It has been a long time since she has been able to hang out with the kiddos. They had a ton of fun.

Wahoo! After a diligently working on Hagen's homework everyday, Hagen has passed everything off. He is now working on his reading books. He is so excited! I love that he is so excited as well. He is too quick to me, he wants to work on it right away and I want to sleep or am not quite able to sit down with . I am so excited for my smart little guy and so glad that he loves to read.
I have a crawler on my hands. About a week and half ago Calvin started going forward a few crawls and then would stop. Nothing adventurous but he has since realized that he can finally go places. The minute I open the fridge he bolts for it. He loves the laundry room, a lot. And he especially loves that the minute the kids put a toy down he can finally get it. Tonight Hagen put his MP3 player and and Calvin was right their all tangled in the headphone cord. It is fun to see his personality become more prominent.

I don't know what the fascination is with hotdogs! Personally I think they are kinda gross but what do I know. So on Friday night we had my little niece Olivia over for the night. The kids wanted a fire so I thought that if I just boiled up a few hotdogs for them to roast then technically I wouldn't have to make dinner! Yay for me. Well they downed 16 hotdogs within 10 minutes. I was convinced that I would four little ones puking by morning, I was lucky. So the next day we went to RcWilly for free hotdogs. Who wouldn't pass that up! More hotdogs! Too many hotdogs but it was a fun weekend.

Here is everyone ready for tricker treating and a fun party at the Millers house. Jared and my cute kiddo's and our friend Spanky and her baby, Roger. We also carved pumpkins. Sid had a smily face, Hagen wanted the Batman symbol, and Kaleigh did a pirate skull. Kaleigh carved her pumpkin all by her self. I was quite impressed.

Teeth

I have three little munchkins who have lost and acquired teeth this last month

Hagen-Calvin-Kaleigh Kaleigh lost one tooth this last month. I think she is almost done loosing teeth. The funny thing is that she wrote a little note asking the tooth fairy what she did with the teeth. The tooth fairy is taking her time answering that one?! I did look on the web to see some of the common answers, some of them were really funny.
Hagen lost his first teeth this month. Every day for two weeks we would wiggle teeth and they were being extremely stubborn, but finally they came out at the same time. The tooth fairy had to cough up two dollars. Hagen was so excited, he wanted to take his two dollars and go to the store and buy a DS game that moment. I tried to explain that DS games cost more that two dollars, I don't think he understood but at least he quit asking.

No loose teeth here. She saw everyone else getting a pix of their teeth and wanted one as well.

I have been trying for weeks to get a pix of Calvin's first little tooth, with absolutely no luck at all. We had gone to our ward trunk or treat and Calvin sucked a sucker down to the stick and was completely sticky. One good thing about this pix is that we finally got a pix of his first little tooth. Kinda hard to see but it is their.

October 2011 Happenings

It seems that it is nice and slow and then October arrives and life is sooo crazy. This last month has been busy.

My Mormor turned 93 on the 10th. She is now living in an assisted living facility. We don't see her a lot, it is pretty chaotic to visit with four little ones. This pix is taken at her birthday party at my Aunt Dorte's house. Part of our craziness this month included lots of yard work. We wanted to accomplish a few outside chores before it was too cold. One thing we did was move the kids play house, which was sitting on cinder blocks and a piece of wood. So we moved the little house and changed the cinder blocks into a fire pit. We've spent a few nights outside roasting marshmallows. This next summer is going to be fun. Never fails, Sid always falls asleep.
It is hard to accomplish anything when you have a 7 month old. Since we have been doing yard work I have been bringing Calvin out with us when it is nice. He has a blast rolling around on the blanket and touching the grass.

I posted this pix because Calvin is so stinkin cute with his Mohawk.

Another big accomplishment for the month is that Calvin can swallow almost anything with out choking. Definitely a positive but that also means that he notices the tiny little items on the floor and they go directly in his mouth. We have had to pull out tape, paper, candy.

So, I just had to write a little note to show how blessed I am to have two of the cutest little boys in my life. I love that they both have the cutest little personalities but I love that they are both so different.

We have had quite a week trying to get little Calvin over being sick. We have been going to the doctor on a regular basis to get Calvin's wheezing in control for the last month and half. We are on our second steriod and are slowly slowly improving. In the mist of several breathing treatments a day he cought some type of virus and broke out in a horrible rash from head to toe and had a fever and was really stuffy. I thought this pix was super cute because he actually looked content and calm for the first time in several days. He looks like a perfect angel and it made me forget how tired I was of the uncontrollable crying. Here is a cuty pix of my Hagen. He is such a smart guy. His kindergarten class had a Nursery Rhyme Parade where they walk through every classroom in the school. The minute he heard about the parade he had made up his mind that he wanted to be Wee Willy Winky so that he could wear his pajamas to school. What a smart stinker! He finally realized that he couldn't wear his pj's after a few attempts of mom trying to explain but still insisted that, that is who he wanted to be. So we made a night cap and put on one of dad's old dress shirts and it was perfect. He was a proud little guy. He even wore it to bed that night. Sooo cute!

Well, little Calvin loves cheese and crackers. I was doing laundry and Sidney had gone to get a snack. I came upstairs to see her piling cheese onto the little red stick to spread the cheese. She then walked over to Calvin and carefully helped him put it in his mouth and then she goes back and gets more for him. The whole time he is patiently watching for her with his mouth wide open with anticipation. When she finally notices that I am watching her she proudly announced "He likes it mom!" It was super cute.

So, we have had to move Calvin to a bigger car seat since he is such a chunk he doesn't fit so well in an infant car seat. At his 6 month appointment on September 10th he weighed 19 pounds 7 ounces. It must be the cheese and crackers.

It is funny, in the past three weeks it seems like Calvin has gone from being a stationary baby to being completely mobile. He is all about going after toys and then sticking them staight in his mouth. He rolls all over the house and sometimes he gets stuck under the couch. He loves to roll to the shoe basket and then eat the shoes. He is starting to push up on his knee's, so he should be crawling soon. Not something I am looking forward to. I don't think I am quite ready for that.

September Madness

I was talking to my brother a few days ago and he complained that I hadn't updated my blog in a month. So I figured that I had better do it soon.

My cute little calvin is way too little to leave with a sitter at the house so Jared and I and little Calvin all went on a much needed date a few weekends ago. We ate at JDawgs, this place has amazing hotdogs. If you haven't tried one, I definately recommend it. Then we watched the Green Lantern. Good movie, I am excited to see the other movies as well. He did awesome in the movie. It is so exciting to see the changes that happen between five an six months. Little Calvin is sitting up. He still falls back every once in a while. But each day he gets better and better. He can reach for stuff and grab it and then sticks it straight in his mouth. He likes to eat whatever we are eating (as long as it is safe and in very small pieces). He smiles at people especially cute girls, he is learning to be a flirt early.

Calvin is also eating jar food! Maybe we won't go through so much formula now. He is patiently sitting in his seat waiting for a bib and food.

Another fun thing that we are working on is riding without training wheels, except for Sidney she get three.

Hagen is still having a hard time mastering it. He'll get it with a little practice.

Kaleigh was ready last summer but we didn't take the training wheels off until this August. She didn't need any practice, she rode away immediately after a 30 second training session. She is everywhere on her bike.

School is FINALLY here!!

Yay Yay!! First day of school for Kaleigh. This year she is in 2nd grade and her teacher is Miss Gardner. She is liking school a little more than she did last year but she still tells me how much she dislikes doing homework. I think we've somewhat established a homework routine from last year so it is just getting back into the routine. Notice her cute shoes "twinkle toes", she had to wait to wear them until school started and she loves them. Hagen started Kindergarten a week after Kaleigh did. His teacher is Mrs. Williams and he is in the AM class. He thinks it's pretty cool to walk to school with Kaleigh. The first three days of school he was a little emotional but I think he is finally getting into the groove and is doing a lot better with his schedule. He is a handsome little guy!
Sid had to have a picture since everyone else did. I wish I could afford to put her in preschool this year but we can't so we are doing a playgroup once a week, starting this week. Hopefully she will be satisfied with that.

Here is little Calvin just hanging out playing with out anyone else bugging him or trying to pick him up (except for Sid). I think he enjoys the break from Kaleigh and Hagen as much as I do.

The past two weekends have been a little crazy. The last weekend of July we were supposed to go camping with the Smith family. Thanks to the rain we were not able to camp overnight so we went to where Mark and Jenny were camping to hang out for the day. When we arrived we went swimming, which was nice since it was so hot. After we finished swimming we got dressed and then went for a ride. Jared and I rode on the 4-wheeler and Mark and Jenny drove the Rhino with all the kids in the back. They had fun except for Sid who said she didn't like it because she was squished. After dinner we helped pack everything up and drove off just in time for some black storm clouds to roll in over us.

Hagen-Reed-Sidney-Kaleigh Kaleigh and Hagen ended going home with Fred and Michelle so it was we just had Sidney and Calvin by themselves for a few days. On Sunday we went to Park City. It was so much easier to look around with only two kids. Sidney saw a horse that she loved and had a blast riding on it.
On Tuesday we drove to Riverdale to pick up Kaleigh and Hagen from Fred and Michelle's. They didn't want to go home and Hagen even cried because he already missed Boston but I could tell that they were ready to come home. We met the Riverdale Smith's at a swimming pool in Riverdale and had a great time hanging out until it was time to go home.

This last saturday the 6th of August. We had a crazy day! We had a yard sale in the morning. I sold almost everything except one box of maternity clothes and 1 box of misc. stuff. I was so proud of myself. Jared went to his parents house and helped split wood with his dad and brothers. I didn't get any cute pictures of the kids selling cookies. I am a little sad about that. By the time Jared came home and I finished cleaning up we had about 2 hours to take a shower and take a little snooze before we needed to go to a birthday party.

I think this is one the funnest birthday parties we have ever been to. Little Amandah Berson turned two and had a party at Hee Haws. I had no idea that they did parties. They had a hay ride, tractor ride, horse ride. They were able to pet the animals and had fun slides and play areas for the kids. It was sooo fun and Kaliegh informed me that she wanted her birthday party at Hee Haws when she turns eight.

July 2011 Festivities

So little Calvin is officially 4 months. On the 11th of July he had his 4 month appointment. He was a whopping 16 lb 4 oz!!! He is nothing but squishy rolls. He is rolling over to his tummy but still has a hard time pulling his arm out from underneath him. He loves to watch his brother and sisters as they jump around and make funny noises and then he laughs and laughs. His cute little personality is starting to show each day. He is also eating baby food now. Over the past two weeks he as successfully learned how to eat off of a spoon. They grow so fast, before long he will be feeding himself. We also took a little trip to the zoo for the first time this summer as a family.

This pix is a little blury, but is was the best pix I had. Of course it had to rain on Monday night so all the kiddos huddled on the porch to avoid the rain drops. We had a fun night watching a quick group of fireworks. It was nice to get the kids in bed a little earlier than expected as well.

June Family Fun

June hasn't been the most eventful month but it has been nice to have warm sunny days instead of rain. This last weekend my little sis, Holly, and her Husband came for a little visit while they were on their way to Arizona to live. We went to eat and hung out and talked. It was nice to see them again.

This last Sunday we woke up too late to make it on time to stake conference, so instead of going to church we packed up the kids and a little picnic lunch and headed to Provo Canyon. We went to Bridal Veil Falls and had a fun Sunday afternoon.
Jared took the kids out into the water fall while Mom held little Calvin.

Sidney thought the water was too cold to walk in so she sat by me most of the time.

We had a little birthday celebration for Lance, Kaleigh, Jace, and Sidney.

We first went to Lehi Legacy Pool and swam for a while. It was a lot of fun, I would recommend the pool to anyone. We dried off and then went to a nearby park for a picnic dinner and cake.

First Zoo Outing for Summer 2011

First, I have to say that we love the zoo. It doesn't matter if we went to the zoo two weeks prior, my kids are always excited to go anytime. This last weekend was a big weekend. We had family in town for Calvin's baby blessing. So, on Friday, June 3rd after all the kiddos finished their last day of school we all went to the zoo.

Yesterday, Jared mowed the lawn for me. Little Sidney was helping Dad. It was really funny watching her mimic everything Dad did. The toy lawn mower was a favorite toy for everyone.

Oregon Graduation

This last weekend I flew to Oregon with my mom and little Calvin to see my little brother graduate from optometry school. We are very proud of all his hard work, Congrats Sheldon!! It was a lot of fun. We stayed in a cute house, had great food, and best of all I only had one kid with me so I got to relax a little.

Two Months Old!

My little guy was officially 2 months on the 10th of May. Time has gone fast. We went to his doctor appointment and he weighted 12 lb 9 oz. I weighed him at home and he was only 11 lb's on my scale but couldn't understand why his onesies were unsnapping all day, obviously my scale is not correct. So later that day we pulled out all his 3-6 month clothes and put away all the clothes that didn't fit. His cute little smile!
Kaleigh's class did the cutest little Mothers Day program for all the Moms. It was so cute and she did a great job on saying her part in the program.

Earlier that same day I went to the morning assembly because Hagen was selected in his pre-school class to recieve the Pawsing for praise award for being such a fast learner and for being good student. Later that day he got to eat lunch with the principal. He was pretty cute standing up on stage and so excited.

I am a little behind of posting the Easter pix. This year for Easter instead of going to Vernal we stayed home and spent time as a family. Then after church on Sunday we went to Mark and Jenny's house and had a nice Easter dinner and egg hunt. It was a nice day and I think my kids are finally understanding the real reason we celebrate Easter but they still like the eggs and other stuff that comes with it.

They all looked so cute all dressed and ready for church, especially Hagen in his new suit.

Every year nuskin does a little egg hunt for the kids and every year I pull into the parking lot the same time they blow the whistle to get the eggs. They hopped out of the car as fast as they could and managed to get a full basket of eggs and little toys each, despite being late.

Little Sid loves to hold her brother and sing to him. She is a good big sister.

Happy birthday Hagen. On Sunday the 10th was Hagen's 5th birthday. Cute little guy was so excited to eat cake and told everyone that it was his birthday. Hagen is an energetic little boy who loves batman, playing the wii, and loves going to school. He is a great brother and is always willing to share and always includes his little sister Sidney in everything he does. He got lots of fun toys from his aunt and uncles and cousins while in Arizona When we came home from Arizona, Jared and I gave Hagen his present from our family. He loved it and wanted to play all night.

This last weekend we went for a little road trip to Arizona where my brother and his wife are living. We drove most the day on Friday and then on Saturday we went to a little mining town called Oatman on Rte 66. This little town has wild donkeys everywhere. We stopped and fed the donkeys cheese crackers and granola bars until Sheldon and Julie showed up with the carrots. Sidney wasn't too sure of the donkeys at first but eventually warmed up to them and had a blast feeding them. feeding more donkeys

4 weeks

So, 4 weeks has come and gone. Seems like it has been longer, maybe because of the lack of sleep. He spends the day going from his boppy to his bouncer to his swing. He is starting to sleep longer at night and stays a wake longer and longer each day. He smiles more and is more vocal when he is upset or hungry. He is a good little guy, I couldn't ask for a better baby. Dad and Calvin taking a little nap. He sleeps better when he is sleeping with someone.

Here is little Calvin snoozing in his bouncer. He is officially hit the three week mark. He smiles the biggest smiles when you talk to him and is starting to stay a wake a little more than normal. I am not sure what he weighs but he is definitely starting to fill out.Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of this last week was so nice. I went out and cleaned the garage and raked the lawn. The kids played outside and asked every day for me to fill the pool with water so they could swim. This morning I got up to feed Calvin and looked out the window and this is what I saw. Couldn't believe it and the rest of the week is supposed to be full of rain. Definitely looking forward to a green grass and lots of sun.

On Saturday (yesterday) we went for a little drive to Tibble Fork to see if we could locate a trail that leads to a small cave for camping. Despite the fact that their is snow on the ground it was actually not too cold.

We all got out and skipped rocks and hung out by the water.

Calvin is 2 weeks old!

Well here we are, we made it to the two week mark. Little Calvin had his first doctor appointment on Thursday. He weigh's 8 lb 5 1/2 oz. We left the hospital two weeks ago weighing 8 oz and is now 1/2 oz shy of his birth weight. He is starting to sleep longer between feedings at night, which is nice for Mom. He is also starting to smile and reacts when someone talks to him. He still sleeps the day away and rarely cries unless he has to wait for his bottle. As far as everyone else, we are all adjusting the changes. The kids are so good at being patient and also helping out with Calvin. They constantly want to hold him, even Hagen. Sidney loves her baby brother and is convinced that he is only her baby brother and not Kaleigh's and Hagen's. Mom is not as tired as I was the first week but I am starting to adjust to the lack of sleep. Dad and Calvin watching the tube.
Cute Hagen has decided that he wants to be a construction worker when he grows up and for the past two days has been wearing goggles and a tool belt. It's pretty cute to watch him.
Kaleigh has been participating in the after school 4H clubs. She chose to go to the Science and the yoga club. Tonight was the parent show case and she got to go on stage and show the parents some of the yoga moves she has learned. It was fun to watch her and see what she has learned.

1 Week Old!!

Our little guy is one week old!! He is starting to fill out and is now drinking 3-4oz each time he eats instead of 2 oz. He sleeps the day a way but does have his moments where he is awake and alert and reacting to voices and sounds. He has chubby little cheeks but has a cute little dimple on his right cheek that makes itself know when he grins really big. I am excited to start seeing his personality and little smiles. We are still working on the difference between night and day. Mom is looking forward to more sleep at night. I think Jared is as well so that Mom isn't so emotional and tired. All said and done it is all worth the lack of sleep to have this little guy in our lives.This picture was taken after our first sponge bath at home. He was a lot cleaner but didn't like the process of being cleaned.

Well after a few days in the hospital we are finally home. I requested an early release and the doctor signed off on it so I was pretty happy.

We are so excited that this day if finally here. We showed up at the hospital at 5:30 am. We checked in and then prepared for a c-section. I was nervous, excited, and a little scared as well. At 7:40 am they pulled him out bum first. He was a big kid compared to my other three. Kaleigh weighed 6'13, Hagen weighed 6'3, and Sidney weighed 6'11. This little guy came out weighing 8'6 and was 21" long. I couldn't beleive it. I didn't think he would be over 7 lb's but never thought I would ever have a 8 lb child. He is so precious and has the cutest little grunt. I am tired and sore but glad to not have an extra growth inside me anymore. I so excited to have my three kiddo's and everyone else meet him! I will definately post more pictures later!!He had a good set of lungs! He was not happy being out in the cold.

Jared, keeps bugging me to update the blog so I figured I should probably do it before the month is completely over. This month has been a crazy month with lots of family gatherings, parties, valentines, and preparing for baby #4. Through all of the craziness we managed to survive and had some fun while we were at it.
I have decided that when you have little ones, Valentines is no longer a holiday for couples. We didn't even attempt to find a sitter. We took the kids to Applebee's and the kids ordered Mac n Cheese like they always do and we waited for the balloon lady to come to our table and make balloon animals. They got a box of chocolates and an apron from Mom and Dad.

These next pictures were taken before we went to a birthday party at chucky cheese for my friends little boy. The kids looked so stinking cute I couldn't help myself.

Last night, the 24th, Kaleigh had a patriotic program at school. Jared had to work so I took the kids alone. Kaleigh did a great job singing and saying her part of the program.

Well here's the dreaded picture I try to avoid my entire pregnancy. I figured that I should probably get one or two in before the end is in sight. We have 13 day left and are scheduled for March 10th. I am miserable and complain about everything from my swollen feet to my huge tummy that sticks straight out. Jared says I am no longer a basketball, I am a beach ball. I am down to an extremely limited amount of clothing since my stomach is so big and only four shirts will cover my stomach completely. At least once a day someone asks, "are you having one or two?" I am not a fan of being pregnant and am very anxious to have this little guy so that I can see my feet and start fitting in normal clothes. I am counting down for the big day, maybe he will decide to come earlier than the 10th since I am already scheduled a week earlier for my Cesarean. Cross your fingers for me.

January isn't the busiest month for the Smith house. School started up again, which was nice since it has been too cold to send the kids outside to play. The next few months should start to get a little busier but for right now it is nice.

The girls dress up almost every day and dance around the living room to the music on the radio. It is pretty cute!
Hagen spends atleast one hour a day in this exact spot playing Lego Batman or Lego Starwars. We have had to put a daily time limit on his playing time or he would play from the moment he comes home from school to the time he goes to bed.

My lucky kiddos were so excited to go to Vernal to see Grandma and Grandpa Sylvester the weekend of January 1st. We had a nice dinner, opened presents, and just hung out. This cute pix was taken after the kids opened their little gifts from Sheldon and Julie in Hawaii. The girls all looked so cute with the little flower in their hair. Lance, Jared, and Matthew spent a good majority of their time flying their toy helecopters all over the house and trying to shoot everyone. I am glad they were so entertained.

Merry Christmas Everyone!! Christmas has come and gone but I wanted to share the pix of my cute kids who were soooo very excited for Santa to come.

On Christmas eve we went to Riverdale for the Smith family Christmas party for great food, swimming, and Santa. When we finally got home we cleaned the house really fast so that Santa could come then we read from the bible and the kids opened their pajamas from mom and Dad. Cute little Sid loved her pj's and pretended she was a frog for the rest of the night. We couldn't get Sid and Hagen to stay in bed as a result of an hour nap on the drive home. Finally, at midnight everyone was sound asleep and Santa was finally able to attempt to bring presents to the house. Christmas Morning finally came after a long night and again Mom was the first awake. Why is it that Mom is more excited for Christmas morning than anyone else?? Instead of waking up the kids, mom laid in bed and watched a little tv. Finally, 8:40 AM rolled around and Kaleigh ran up the stairs to check for presents and then woke everyone else up.

My little Kaleigh isn't so little any more. She got an MP3 player, cute little hat, earrings, a baby alive doll and a pillow pet. She has spent the past few days walking around the house with her cute little hat and earphones in her ear.
Hagen was super cute opening his gifts. He also got an MP3 player, and dinosaur toy, a pillow pet, Kung zu pet and the most popular gift besides the MP3 player a nerf type shooting gun. He shoots everything, even his sisters and Dad until he gets in trouble. His second fav. gift is Lego Batman. He plays the game every day.

Sidney was in heaven she got a little people house, pillow pet, a baby alive, a new blanky (so that we can retire her old blanky that is falling apart and stained). After all the presents were opened she sat on the couch with her baby, blanky, pillow pet, and her M&M's and watched beauty and the beast. It was so entertaining watching her reaction to every present she opened.

It was a great Christmas. My favorite gift this Christmas was how happy my kids were with everything that they did and received. I love you Kaleigh, Hagen, and Sidney!!

White Christmas (hopefully)

Even though, I don't really like snow it was nice to wake up this morning to snow and it has snowed all day. Hopefully, it doesn't rain or all of a sudden get warm and melt before Christmas day. Kaleigh, Hagen, and Sidney went and played in it for a while and had a ton of fun. Until they got too cold. Friday, the 17th, was the last day of school until next year and they had their Christmas sing program. Hagen was a cute reindeer singing Rudolph.
Kaleigh's class sang the perfect song. "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth". Kaleigh had just lost the first of her two front teeth.

For family home evening we made a Lowes build and grow project and it was really cute watching the kids get all dressed up to put together their Kaleidoscopes. Sid, especially since she had her goggles up side down and wouldn't let us fix it for her.

You can tell I haven't blogged in a while, I am usually better at posting on a regular basis. Here is the pix of my cute kiddo's in front of the Christmas tree that they had decorated the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Jazz Game Suprise

So, on Monday we were given tickets by Nuskin to go to the Jazz game. I wasn't so excited to go but was willing since it would be a night with out any kids and a good date. To our suprise, when we got the ticket we found out that is was a club 100 ticket. At that time I had no idea what that meant. We got to eat at the Club 100 buffet (the food was amazing) and during half time we got to go into the club 100 half time room for drinks and all kinds of snacks. I think the best part of it was that we were sitting 2 rows from the court next to the basket. You could see the sweat dripping from the players. It was a lot of fun, thanks NuSkin!

So this is Kaleigh's creation, her snowman. He is probably one foot tall. On Saturday night it snowed, this isn't from the supposed blizzard that we were supposed to get and didn't. She we so excited to get home from church and eat lunch so that she could go outside and build her first snowman for the year. Sidney was a good helper!
This pix is a little more blury than I thought. Kaleigh had a Thanksgiving program in her class. She was super cute and did great reading her lines.

Operation Dry Wall

Tonight we started the process of replacing the drywall in Hagen's room. When a thumb tack falls out of the wall, you start to realize something is wrong. We have been meaning to do it for awhile but now that Sheldon and Julie have moved out, now is perfect since the room is already empty. The kids made every effort to make sure they helped. The kept saying that the needed to work hard so that dad wouldn't give up (not that he would).

Sidney was helping Jared push the mattresses up the stairs or at least she thought she was. kaleigh and Hagen helped take the drywall pieces to the garage. Kaleigh wanted to get the biggest piece every chance she could.
I think that all that pushing on the mattress wore this little one out. She made a bed for herself and her baby and very quickly fell asleep.

A little clean up and then on Saturday we can start hanging dry wall. I am looking forward to having this room back together so that I can get Hagen in his own room and most the toys out of the family room.

BYU vs. UNLV

Jared was given 3 tickets to the BYU game this last Saturday. I am not a football fan, so I didn't want to go. I told him he could go and I would watch the kids. Jared was an awesome dad and wanted to take his kids instead of inviting friends. The kids loved it. Kaleigh came home singing cheers and songs and asking when they get to go again. Hagen was a little bored. He had fun, but was definately ok with going home at half time.

Halloween 2010

We had a fun halloween this year. First we went to a ward fall party where we ate chili, pie, and had a trunkertreat for the kids. Then we went tricker treating with Grandma and Grandpa Sylvester and Sheldon, Julie and Jace. The kids got too much candy. I think I gained 5 pounds this past week with all the soda and candy I have consumed. The kids are still as skinny as can be and they have eaten more candy than I. After we finished tricker treating we went to a party at a friends house in their barn. It was a fun night, but we were so tired the next day.

Extremely Busy Week

So, here it is. We finally had our 20 week ultrasound. Seems like it took forever to finally get to this point, and now it is here I hope the next five months go really really fast. This little BOY was quite the poser for us. We got some great pictures and he is measuring exactly where he needs to and looks quite healthy. Hagen told the technician doing the ultrasound the baby's name is Wolverine. We got a kick out of that. Still working on a name.Gotta love school Halloween parties. Today was the day. I signed up to be the room mom in Kaleigh's class this year, since Sidney is finally old enough to be somewhat behaved when we go into the school. It was a lot of work, as if I needed something else to do this week, but really a lot of fun and I also enjoy being able to get to know the kids in the class.

We also carved pumpkins. Kids had a ton of fun. Didn't really like getting dirty but they love being able to see their pumpkins lit on the front steps.

Smith family happenings

I haven't been so great at updating our blog so on this update you get a whole collection of everything from the end of September until now.

So, a while back we got 5 chickens, in the hopes that all five would be female and mid-September all five chicks would be laying eggs. As it turned out four of the five chicks were roosters and had to be given away. What are the odds?? So the end of July I purchased three new baby chicks, guaranteed female. Our one chicken who is finally old enough layed eggs! We were all excited to find eggs one day!! The kids think it's a lot of fun to go out and see the egg the chicken layed. In January our other three chickens will be laying eggs and hopefully we will be getting at least 4 eggs a day and I will never have to buy eggs again.

We also went to the state fair the end of September. We went with Danny and Rachel and their cute kids and then met up with my brother, Julie and Jace as well. It was extremely crowded so we didn't all stay together but definitely had fun looking at all the animals.

We took this pix because the cow that received 1st place name is Hagen! The kids had fun petting the cows, sheep, and pigs. Especially the newborn baby cow.The kids had fun sitting in an army Hum V (not sure I spelled that right) at the fair.

Our next fun event was conference weekend. My family from Vernal came out to visit with Sheldon and his family since they are only in Utah for the next month. We all went to Chucky Cheese with Jared's parents and my nephews, Boston and Talon, and Niece Kemayla after the second session of conference on Saturday and then all the guys went to the priesthood session and when they came back we all had icecream. A little crazy but it was fun to all be together. We also played Miniature Golf for Jacob, Jared's brother, on the 9th of Oct. to celebrate his birthday. It was really funny to watch Hagen and Sidney because the would hit the ball half a dozen times then they would pick up the ball and either drop it right into the hole or sit it next to the hole and knock it in with their club. It was pretty entertaining.

Zoo Trip

First Day of School!!!

So excited for school to start for my sake and the kids as well.

This year Hagen tested to be able to get into the free preschool that Westmore Elem. offers and he made it. I think part of it was that he couldn't even tell the teacher how old he was, even though he asks me all the time. He is so excited and loves that he get to go to the big kid school. My little Kaleigh is in 1st grade this year. She is getting so big and so smart that she amazes me every day with what she learns and how well she is reading. She has become really picky with what she wears. Last year I could pick something out and she would wear it. This year she would rather find something else than wear what I have picked out. But the best part of 1st grade is that she now gets to eat school lunch. She thinks that is pretty cool.

Mesa Falls Marathon/Yellowstone Trip

We usually do a little something before starts to end the summer and start a new school year. This year we went to Idaho with my two brothers and their family. We stayed with Julie's aunt and uncle who live in Rexburg. They were really nice to accommodate all of us. My brother, Sheldon, and his wife, Julie, signed up to run the Mesa Fall marathon (Sheldon) and half Marathon (Julie). They did awesome! I don't know that I could do that my self. After the marathon was over we all hopped into our vehicles and drove to Yellowstone. Surprisingly, Jared had never been. We had a lot of fun and we were really sad to only have one day their, but the time we had was pretty amazing. It did rain a good part of the day but I think it made the sites even more amazing. Our family waiting for Old Faithful to erupt. The kids thought it was really cool, but couldn't quite understand the concept of hot water squirting out of the ground.

While we were driving we came upon a bison eating on the side of the road. We also saw a huge elk, but couldn't get a good pix since he was back in the trees.

We headed home on Sunday but before we left we went to the Sand Dunes and had a lot of fun.

So here we are again... Part of me wondered if it was ever going to happen agian and it finally did. We are sooo excited but a little scared at the same time. Three kids is a good number but to throw another one in the mix might be a little suicidal. We are ten weeks and are due on March 17th. We are praying for a smooth pregnancy without any complications and also for the good "I feel good" days to over take the sick "stay in bed all day" days! I'm too old for this!! We are amazingly thankful!!!

This last weekend we went camping at Diamond Fork Canyon. Not too far from home, but far enough to experience the outdoors. We spend two nights camping and Grandma and Grandpa spent the last night with us.

This is the last post! NOT only did we go to the zoo and celebrate with the Smith family, we also did some celebrating with my family as well. On Sunday the 4th we celebrate all the June and July birthdays. We had a little picnic at a park in Alpine.Olivia and Kaleigh
Little Sid figured out that is a lot easier to sit the poppers on the ground and then step on them. Smart kid.
Hagen watched Sid step on hers one at a time and he decided to dump his whole bag out and jump uncontrollably on his poppers. Way too much energy!

The next day on the 5th of july, we celebrated by going to see the move, "How to Train Your Dragon" with my brother and his family, and Sammy and Amelyah(Kaleigh and Hagen's friends). Afterwards we had a BBQ and then lit fireworks when it was dark. I didn't really get the greatest pictures so this one will have to do.

We love the zoo. We have been to the zoo many many times in the past two years and it is always very exciting for the kids. This last trip was especially fun because Sid is starting to really notice the animals and gets really excited when they move around. Several times she would yell, "Mommy Look" and pull me up to the glass and point.

We ended up going to the zoo on the 3rd. We thought it would be crowded since it was a holiday weekend. Suprisingly It wasn't crowded and it was 72' the entire time. It was a nice day.We had dinner, celebrated Smith Family birthdays, and watched fireworks at Fred and Michelle's in Riverdale. We had such a great day.Hagen Kaleigh and Melissa

My sweet little Sidney turned 2 today!! Can't believe that it has been two years. She got a grocery cart and a Zhu Zhu pet (so that she will leave Kaleigh's alone).
She is growing so fast! She is starting to use more words, loves to pretend play with her sister, and loves being outside. She is a tease and loves to get a reaction out of anyone. Happy birthday my sweet girl!

My oldest is officially 6 years olds as of May 27th. My sweet girl who has become so independent and smart and is starting to grow up on me. I love her and her beautiful smile. I am blessed as a Mom! Kaleigh blowing out her candles at her friend party we had on June 1st.

We had a beauty party where they painted their soaked their feet and painted their toe nails and finger nails. Where it was just me and all these girls and Hagen I let them paint their own toe nails. Little scary! But we made it through it. We also did strawberry yogurt face masks with oreo cookies. they were extremely cute and giggly for the yogurt part.

She also had Amelyah and Olivia spend the night. Awe, to be six again!

As some might know I have been talking for a while about building a coop and getting chicks in the hopes of becoming a little more self reliant and creating a situation where my children could have some responibiliites in the hopes that one day this little lesson could totally blossom and they become the most amazingly responsible people in the world. Well, who knows if they will actually be responsible but for my sake I hope they will be. we are just about finished with the coop and so today I picked up the 2 week old chicks. They are definately a hit in our house. We got five chicks and each of us were able to pick a chick that is ours and name it. So, Hagen named his Jared, wonder where he got that name. Kaleigh named hers Diamond. Sidney's is Patches. Jared and I named ours Ralph and Quackers. Since Orem has a no rooster ordinance I told Hagen that Dad would have to kill and eat it if the chick all of a sudden turns into a rooster. Then Hagen said very sadly, "No, then Dad would turn into a rooster." I just had to laugh about that comment.

Kaleigh's Kindergarten Program

Kaleigh is just about finished with Kindergarten. She started Kindergarten not knowing how to do much of anything and she now knows how to read, write lots of words, add/subtract, and lots of other stuff that would probably fill up this whole page if I kept going. We just finished up all of the parties for little Hagen. Thanks everyone for all the great gifts and taking time to celebrate with us.

Of the many presents that Hagen received for his birthday,leave it up to Uncle Lance to to give him a live rat. He was not so sure of the rat at first but slowly warmed up to it. He has since decided that he loves his rat and is really glad to have it. Mom is still not so sure about the rat but is warming up to the idea. Hagen named her "Spider Girl".

My little Hagen turned four today!! He got a spider man bike and he loved it. Hagen is a rough little boy who loves to play fight, watch PBS kids, eat candy, and for a four year old is so polite. Happy birthday my little Hagen!! Grandma and Grandpa Sylvester got Hagen dragon pajamas from the movie "How to train your dragon". Hagen was exstatic, he loved them. He might be wearing them to bed every night for the next week.

Spring Break in Salt Lake

For spring break we wanted to do something fun but not too expensive. We reserved a room at a hotel in SLC with a indoor swimming pool. If we could have spent the entire time in the pool the kids would have been happy.

Sidney, Kaleigh, and Hagen at the Living planet Aquarium. Penguin exhibit was pretty awesome. We watched "How to train your dragon" in 3d at the Imax at Jordan commons. Awesome movie, I would recommend it to any one.
Having to get out of the pool is a sad thing. I think the kids loved being in the pool more than they did going to any of the other activities we had planned.

Sidney loved the water. As soon as she was comfortable with the water she was floating in her tube by herself and even trying to plug her nose to put her face in the water.

Easter Fun

So Easter has come and gone and not only did we get to enjoy the holiday and everything that comes with it we also were able to listen to conference and the great messages that were spoken. What a blessing it is in our lives to be led by some of the most amazing people.

What is Easter without coloring eggs. A normal ritual for Hagen, Olivia, Ily and Kaleigh. But Little Sidney couldn't understand why she wasn't allowed to drink the egg dye. It isn't supposed to snow on Easter. This year it did so a quick little hunt on the deck at my parent's house in Vernal was good.

We also went shooting while in Vernal. We just got a new shot gun and I have been so excited to shoot it. A little windy but it was awesome.

So, I thought I would post these pictures because by the time the weekend is over we going to have two more egg hunts and tons of Easter Celebration pictures. Nuskin does an egg hunt for the children of the employees every year. Lots of fun and we all look forward to it. Sidney and Hagen were pretty excited but Kaleigh has been really sick for an entire week now and every time I said "Smile for the Camera" she just gave me her little half smile or told me she was tired. She should be going back to school tomorrow :) just in time to have an entire week off for spring break.

Still waiting for it to quit snowing!! I guess I should just be patient, even though I am not the most patient person. I just want it to stop snowing and be sunny and warm but until then we'll just have to be creative. Last night the kids had their friends, Samuel and Amelyah, over to play and watch a movie. They were a little crazy but a lot of fun. Kaleigh was very helpful in cleaning up the beads that Sidney dumped all over my office floor. Then she came into the kitchen and decided to pop the bag as if she was popping a bag of chips. Beads of all colors flew everywhere! Kaleigh was really sad because it took forever for her to pick them all up again and I am still fiding beads. Just one of those moments to remember.

A New Year

I realized that it has been a while since I have posted anything. January is not necessarily a busy month, but I feel like I do a lot of catching up from all the holidays. I am so thankful for my family and friends and all they mean to me. I am especially thankful for my three kids who keep me on my toes every minute of the day. Sometimes I wish for a long break all by myself where I can actually think with out being interrupted but then I would miss out on the little moments. I love my Kaleigh who doesn't stop talking, changes her clothes at least four times a day, and I love that everywhere we go she is starting read and is so curious what everything says and which city we are in at the moment, whether we are in Orem or Provo or where ever we are. My Hagen is all boy. He loves transformers, super heroes (Iron man, spider man, batman, etc.) He is a tough little guy but he always takes a moment to stop to tell mom that he loves her. He loves to tease and play rough and he just giggles when he knows he has gotten under someones skin. Last is my little Sidney who is all personality and thinks that she is the same size and is capable of doing everything that Kaleigh and Hagen do. She loves to sing, tease, and laughs when she gets a swat on the bum, but is so tender and affectionate at the same time. Even in all my frustrating moments I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Christmas 2009

So Christmas has come and gone. Doesn't seem like it should be 2010 yet. We just want to let everyone know how thankful we are for our friends and family and all the many blessings in our lives.

Christmas morning! You would think that Kaleigh would have woken up super early, checked to see if santa had come and woken up everyone else. Nope, Mom woke up at 7:30 (still in the school mode). I laid in bed until 8:00 am then decided to go down stairs to watch tv. I kept watching the clock until it was 8:45 am. So I finally decided that I needed to get everyone out of bed. So I woke up Kaleigh and sent her to wake up Hagen. But instead she crawled onto the couch and tried to go back to sleep. What is this! It is the very day we look forward to every year filled with presents. Finally, everyone was up and ready for breakfast and presents. We had a great christmas morning the kids received lots of fun toys. Kaleigh got her camera she had been asking for, it wasn't pink but she still loved it. Hagen received several transformers and a helmet hero. Little Sidney got a zebra toy, talking tea set and other noisy toys. We had a great Christmas filled with family and friends and a fun trip to Vernal. The kids in their pajamas from Mom and Dad on Christmas eve.

This last weekend I had the most amazing opportunity to go to Oregon and see my little nephew, Jace be sealed and blessed to my little brother, Sheldon and his wife Julie. Jared stayed home and went to work and took care of the kids with the help of friends and family. Thanks Fred and Marlene and Yitain for helping take care of my kids!

Christmas Decorations

I am so blessed to be able to take care of my sweet kids. Their personalities are so different and they all shine in different ways. It is amazing to see them grow and become their own individuals. We had a lot of fun decorating the tree. The ornaments were all grouped at the bottom front and Sidny loved taking them off to check them out. We had a lot of fun.

On Thursday, the 5th, we picked up Boston (cousin), and went to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. The weather was so amazingly nice and the kids had so much fun. Hagen and Boston have so much fun together and Hagen tells me all the time how much he loves Boston. Too bad we don't live closer.

So, it has been a while since I have been able to update our blog. We have had an insanely crazy month. We closed on our house, have done a ton of canning, and I also had a super saturday craft activity in my ward that I was in charge of. Now I have to finish sewing two more costumes by friday night. Can this month get any crazier. My kids have been amazingly patient through it all.

Little Sidney is a colorer, all over herself and my couches and fireplace. Good thing the markers are washable and the couches have scotch guard

For FHE we went to Bridal Veil Falls for a picnic and to look at the leaves and of course to play in the cold water.
Kaleigh also lost her second tooth. The tooth fairy came and took her tooth and replaced it for a dollar and Kaleigh was up at three in the morning showing off her new dollar.

Zoo and Lagoon

Aww, the zoo. I don't know how many times we have gone this summer. Everytime we go the kids are always excited and never bored, so I guess it is worth it. So, every year about this time Nuskin has their Lagoon summer party. All year we look forward to going. This year we had a few sickness in the middle of the week and by Thursday night Mom caught the flu bug and spent most the night in the bathroom. Needless to say Jared, Kaleigh, Hagen and Grandpa and Grandma Smith had a blast at Lagoon. We invited Danny and Rachel and Sheree and Jordan and their kids. From what I hear Every one had a blast. I was a little sad, but I was glad that the kids had sooo much fun.

School is here!!

School is finally here. Cute little Kaleigh started Kindergarten last Thursday. She was so excited but was tired and ready to go home by the end of the first day of class. Hagen is doing Fun School (Joy School) this year. twice a week. He loves it and cries on the mornings the he doesn't have school and Kaleigh does. I love it because I only have Sidney to take care of and if I can get her interested in a toy then I get a lot done. My babies are no longer babies anymore.

Oregon Vacation

This last week we were able to go to Forest Grove, Oregon to visit my little brother who is going to school their. It was a long drive to and from but we had a great time. Thanks Sheldon and Julie for showing us the sites! It was a great trip to end the summer and get ready for school to start.

We went to a light house just off the coast. The ocean behind us was amazing.

We went camping at Nehalem Bay (I am pretty sure that was the name). It was really cool to be in the campground with trees everywhere then in the morning we walked for a few minutes and we were on the beach playing in the sand.

24th of July Celebrations

The 24th of July has always been my favorite holidayof the year. Normally we would go to SLC and watch fireworks at my dad's house next to Liberty park. It will always be a day that I remember and cherish the memories of my father and what he meant to me.

This year we took the kids to the zoo then we went to Grandpa and Grandma Smith's house for a bbq, swimming and fireworks.

This last weekend we went to Vernal for my little brother, Matthew's wedding. We didn't get any Pictures at the wedding. But we did take some at the house before we left to go back home to Orem.

Bear Lake Camping

4th of July Fireworks

This year we celebrated our traditional 4th of July celebrations with a BBQ in the back yard. Then when it was dark enough we lit fireworks. Kaleigh is all wrapped up even though it wasn't that cold.

Crazy rose bushes and other events

Thanks to the help of our family we were finally able to take one of our huge rose bushes to the dump. It was about twenty feet wide and tall. The rosebush they are putting on the trailer is what is left after three trips to the dump. One more rose bush to go.
We had a little birthday celebration for Lance and Sidney. Lance is 32!!

Poor little Hagen had gotten so sick that he was throwing up every thirty minutes this last Sunday. He was so tired. He fell asleep leaning on the toilet and started to wake up when he saw Jared and I watching him.

We also had a yard sale at our house this last weekend. Little sidney loved sitting with Grandpa Smith.

Kaleigh turned five!

My little Kaleigh isn't so little any more. On the 27th of May she turned five. She had her dance recital the night of her birthday as well. They danced to the wiggles an Indain song and did a little crocodile dance in the Peter Pan dance the dance company put together. She did amazing. As soon as I figure out how to post videos I will post her dances from her recital. Grandpa and Grandma Smith (and Grandma Mikits also) came to her recital.
She also graduated from preschool that week. The picture is Kaleigh with her teacher Mrs. Scholle.

At the Smith house we love when it starts to get warm. We go to the zoo a lot, thanks to our zoo pass. We play outside a lot, and we are also looking forward to Bear Lake and Oregon. We love putting the sprinkler under the trampoline. The kids call it swimming.

Kaleigh's Recipe for Mac and Cheese

For Mothers Day Kaleigh gave me a little book that her and the other kids in her class put together and it was called

"Westmore's Moms Best Recipes

by Mrs. Scholle's AM and PM Preschool class"

This is Kaleigh's recipe for Mac and Cheese. I think this was my all time favorite Mothers day gift that I have ever received.

Ingredients

1 cup

1 cupcake

4 chicken nuggets

1 chocolate

1 or 2 pizzas

1 cheese bread

Put the pizza in the oven for 10 minutes, the oven should be hot. Make a cake then. I love mac and cheese. My mom makes me mac and cheese with hot dogs.

Now if any one doesn't know how to make mac and cheese, make sure you give little Kaleigh a call. I think she has it down.

The month of April has been extremely busy for our family. We celebrated Hagen's and Jared's birthday with a family dinner. Jared and I also took off for a weekend in Vegas for his birthday present. Thanks Fred and Marlene for watching the kids!! But in the middle of the birthday celebrations we also moved, finally. We only moved a few blocks a way but we are in a house that has four bedrooms and two bath. I am extremely excited for two bathrooms. We are still trying to get settled after putting up sheet rock (just in a few rooms), painting, and recarpeting the house, but will have pictures soon.

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter everyone! With all the packing and painting we have been doing I haven't been had much time to just sit down or even update the blog. We had a fun Easter. We are still trying to teach the kids the reason behind Easter, but I think at this point they are more excited for the Easter basket than anything. Kaleigh was so excited for the Easter bunny to come. She woke up at 4:00 am and then woke up Hagen to open their baskets. We had a dinner and a egg hunt at Mormor's.

We have a new addition to our family. His name is Tank, We named him that since we know that he is going to be big. He is 9 weeks old and is a really sweet little lab puppy. If you are looking at his tail wondering why it looks a little funny, He was born that way. The only one who isn't excited for Tank is little Sidney, who cries everytime he looks at her. I thought I would post a few pictures of the kids. It seems like they change and grow so fast.
Kaleigh will be five in May and her interests are never the same each day, since the weather is slowely changing from cold to warm she spends a lot more time outside playing with her friends Kennedi and Olivia her cousin (since they are back in Orem). She has a new friend that she has play dates with named Amelyah, they are very cute together. I registered her for Kindergarten last week, so that makes me both sad and excited at the same time.

Hagen will be three next month. He no longer takes naps and loves diego, cars, trains, and dinosaurs. But lately he has been extremely interested in Spiderman. He just stays home with mom all day and every so often I can get him to cuddle, he does tell us that he loves us at least a hundred times a day so I guess that makes up for the lack of cuddling.
Little Sidny is 8 months old and is crawling everywhere. She is still my chunkiest baby but she is also a good eater as well. She puts everything in her mouth so we have to watch her really closely. Since she thinks she needs a taste of everything we eat I started giving her a little food everytime we eat, minus the meat. She is doing really well eating by her self, and hopefully soon I won't have to feed her jar food.

She is crawling!!

She is crawling! I am so excited that I had to share this with everyone. The past month little Sidney has done nothing but scoot backwards, but today she actually went forward. Hagen, poor little guy, has done nothing but say, "no no Sidney". In the picture below Hagen was trying really hard to clean up his legos before she could get them, as you can see she was a little faster than he was.
I had to put this picture because of how sad Hagen's little face looked. Saturday morning Hagen swelled and broke out in hives. Not sure why, we think he may be allergic to coconut, I don't think he has ever had it before Saturday morning. Me being a paranoid mom and never seeing hives before rushed him to the doctor, my doctors are getting rich off of me this month! After a tablespoon of benadryl and thirty minutes later he looked a lot better.

Before the kids went to bed on Christmas eve they got to open one present from Mom and Dad, pajamas of course, don't they look amazingly cute. Christmas morning! The kids slept in until 9:00 am. The funny thing was that Jared and I layed in bed wide a wake waiting for the kids to wake up.

Kaleigh was fun to watch. She has finally gotten Christmas morning down and kept asking for more presents.
