Jan. 30, 2016- Lots and lots of Snow

Finally we have lots of snow that doesn't just melt the next day.
These cute kids had a ton of fun playing in the snow and building a snow man.  Calvin named him "Olaf" and was very proud of him!

Jan. 22, 23, and 25- Beauty and Beast Play

This year Westmore Elementary presented the play Beauty and the Beast Jr.
Kaleigh decided that she wanted to be in stage crew and Hagen tried out for a part, and was the Butcher.  They had many play practices and both were so excited for it.
They did great and Hagen and His cousin Olivia actually opened up one of the scenes together.
They did so good!
 Cute Olivia!

 Kaleigh and her bestie Diana!

 I love these silly kids.

January- February 2016- Basket Ball for Hagen

I am trying to find something that Hagen is interested in to help keep him active.  So, we signed up for basketball through the rec center.  He loves it and is improving, especially since he has never really played a game ever.
He loves it and has decided that he wants to play again next year.  Looks like it's time to get a basketball hoop.

The funnest part of the first game played was that he played against his cousin Reed at both of their first games.

Jan. 9, 2016- Cheer competition in Roy, Utah

This is it the very last cheer competition and no more practices until June!  The girls have worked very hard practicing so it exciting to know that they actually earned enough points to go to nationals.  Today was one of those Saturdays where we had multiple activities.  Jared took the girls to Roy for the competition and I stayed back with the boys and took Hagen to his first basketball game.

Kaleigh and Hagen made it to the next level at reflections for their photo's they took at arches. I am so proud of these two!

Jan. 5, 2016- Calvin's first day at his new school and at gymnastics

This cute little guy had some testing done to determine how to best work with his educational needs.  Based on his Individual Educational Plan we have determined that he needs a little help socially and cognitively.  We took him out of the preschool offered at Westmore Elementary and put him into the special education preschool at Orem Elementary.  He gets to ride the bus to school, which is totally cool.  He now gets to go to gymnastics class as well and totally loves it.  He still talks about Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Horton and wants to go back and I love that he remembers them and liked it that much.

He is also going to the little romper class at All American Gymnastics.  He loves it and calls it his exercise class.

Jan. 2, 2016- Lights at Temple Square

As a family we took a drive to Temple Square to see the lights.  We bundled up and got ready for the cold.  It was beautiful.  The lights are amazing and we saw many different kinds of manger scenes throughout the temple grounds.
I love my family and I love spending time with them, especially at the temple.

The kids also going to the top of the Joseph Smith Building and looking down at the temple and the lights.  It's beautiful.
They must have had a busy but good night because after we came home these two were very tired and ended up falling asleep in moms bed.
