Camping

This last weekend we went camping at Diamond Fork Canyon. Not too far from home, but far enough to experience the outdoors. We spend two nights camping and Grandma and Grandpa spent the last night with us.

The highlite of the evening was being able to roast marshmellows and make smores.

Sid was so dirty that she took a little bath in a container. After the bath she was either sitting in the container or walking around with it on her head.
My cute Kaleigh thought it was awesome to get in her pajamas and sit around the fire at night.

Olsen Family birthdays and 4th celebrations

This is the last post! NOT only did we go to the zoo and celebrate with the Smith family, we also did some celebrating with my family as well. On Sunday the 4th we celebrate all the June and July birthdays. We had a little picnic at a park in Alpine.Olivia and Kaleigh
Little Sid figured out that is a lot easier to sit the poppers on the ground and then step on them. Smart kid.
Hagen watched Sid step on hers one at a time and he decided to dump his whole bag out and jump uncontrollably on his poppers. Way too much energy!

The next day on the 5th of july, we celebrated by going to see the move, "How to Train Your Dragon" with my brother and his family, and Sammy and Amelyah(Kaleigh and Hagen's friends). Afterwards we had a BBQ and then lit fireworks when it was dark. I didn't really get the greatest pictures so this one will have to do.

Zoo and Fireworks

We love the zoo. We have been to the zoo many many times in the past two years and it is always very exciting for the kids. This last trip was especially fun because Sid is starting to really notice the animals and gets really excited when they move around. Several times she would yell, "Mommy Look" and pull me up to the glass and point.

We ended up going to the zoo on the 3rd. We thought it would be crowded since it was a holiday weekend. Suprisingly It wasn't crowded and it was 72' the entire time. It was a nice day.We had dinner, celebrated Smith Family birthdays, and watched fireworks at Fred and Michelle's in Riverdale. We had such a great day.Hagen Kaleigh and Melissa

Karate Class

Cute little Hagen took a short community education Karate class for the month of June. He loved it. He learned some pretty cool kicks and how to focus a little better, which is a good thing.

My baby is 2 today!!

My sweet little Sidney turned 2 today!! Can't believe that it has been two years. She got a grocery cart and a Zhu Zhu pet (so that she will leave Kaleigh's alone).
She is growing so fast! She is starting to use more words, loves to pretend play with her sister, and loves being outside. She is a tease and loves to get a reaction out of anyone. Happy birthday my sweet girl!

Graduation and school years have come to an end

Today we had Hagen's Fun School/Joy School graduation. What a handsome little guy! They sang a song called "Decisions" that they have been practicing for a few weeks.

Grandpa Olsen's Grave

We went to visit Grandpa on Sunday, May 30th. It is still a shock that he is gone. We love him and miss him. Mormor with the grandkids, except for little Jace.
