California- Spring break April 2015

California April 2015
Since I have worked at JetBlue I haven't taken a standby flight with or without the kiddos.  We thought it would be fun to take the kiddos to the beach.
Here they are waiting for our flight to depart.  They are sooo excited
We made it!
As soon as we arrived we headed to our hotel and then to the beach.
We stayed near Manhattan Beach.
On the pier we were able to go to the Manhattan Beach Pier and visit the small aquarium.
They were able to touch the star fish and see some different fish that normally we don't see.

Dad and the boys making silly faces and gestures.
On our way out of the aquarium we posed with a shark
Playing in the ocean.
The kiddos and dad playing in the waves.
My crazy Kaleigh.

Hagen, Kaleigh, and Sid waiting for the waves to get them.
Cute Calvin waiting for the wave to hit.
Not sure why he thought to close his eyes but it was funny.
Kaleigh Playing in the sand.
On our second day we took a tour of the Battle Ship Iowa.  I was amazing how large the ship was and to see how everything worked.

Kaleigh wasn't quite sure what this was and how to even use it.
They were amazed that this was actually a phone.

Cutest kids ever posing in one of the captains chairs.

After we toured the battleship we headed to Laguna Beach.  It was so much fun to spend the rest of the day playing in the water and sun.

Cute Sidney
This little guy makes me laugh.  He had so much fun!

Later in the day we met up with Rachel and her kiddos and the kiddos were ready for more water and sand.

After Calvin's shorts got wet he had a hard time keeping them up.
They must have almost fallen off at least a dozen time.  After a day in the sand we headed back to the hotel for dinner and a little shut eye.
On our last day before we went to the airport we stopped at "The Aquarium of the Pacific"
it was amazing.  We were there for over three hours and didn't even see all of it.
The kids were able to touch jelly fish.

Mom and Calvin.
He was starting to get tired and thought he needed to be held.
This handsome guy just turned 9 on the 10th of April and I wanted to make sure I got a picture of him to show everyone what a handsome nine year old I have.
The Penguins looking down onto the kids
We had so much fun as a family and I am so happy that we were able to spend time as a family!

Hope of America - April 2015

Hope of America
It was a long night but it was really amazing to see all these 5th graders gather together and sing about what a great country we have.

Kaleigh wanted to make sure I had a picture of her with sunglasses and without.
Silly kid!

Easter - April 2015

Easter is a fun time to spend as family.
It is a great time to remember all the blessing we have received and to remember the sacrifices that were made for us by Jesus.  I am so thankful for everything that we have.
We colored eggs and then ate them as well.  The kiddos have become masters at coloring eggs.
It's Easter morning and the kids were so excited for the bunny to visit and bring some goodies!
Later in the day we had dinner and an egg hunt in the back yard.

The kiddos are ready to find the eggs!
Sidney modeling her new skirt from the easter bunny and also collecting eggs.
Olivia found a few eggs that were hidden really well.
This little guy was pretty excited!  After a few eggs he just wanted to eat the chocolate.
