Yellowstone/Bear Lake family trip- July 17-22nd

Yellowstone here we come!
We had so much fun spending time with the Hales family and seeing Elder Hales after he served his mission.  We all met up in West Yellowstone and we were able to spend time and catch up.
We spent time in Yellowstone from Friday the 17th through Sunday the 19th.

As soon as we entered the park we were able to see elk.

 Old Faithful!
Old Faithful is always a fun attraction.  We got a little lunch while waiting for it to go off.  When it finally went off it was an amazing sight!

These girls are the best of friends and we were so thankful to have Diana with us.

 Lewis Falls
This little area was so much fun.  We were all able to play in the water for a while, especially since we would be driving for quite a bit.

We had decided to drive through Yellowstone and go through the Grand Teton.  We stopped at a little campground and got a great view!

 Bear Lake
We finally made it to Bear Lake Sunday night after a long drive.
We were so excited to go to the lake the next morning and it poured and was so cold.
When the evening came around we headed to the lake to see the sunset.
The water was inviting as well.

Tuesday at Bear Lake was so much fun!
The Gillman's were so nice to share all their fun water toys with us!
We all had a good laugh watching Calvin's crack hang out as they headed into the water.

Aunt Jenny let Calvin play with  a cool airplane!  He loved it!

On Wednesday, we attempted to spend a little more time on the beach before it was time to head home.  The weather was not going to cooperate.  After a few hours a storm rolled in.
That was our sign that it was time to head home.  We had so much fun.

Weekend in Vegas- July 10-12th

For my birthday weekend we headed to Vegas to celebrate the Baptism of McKenna, Julie's stepdaughter on Saturday and the blessing of Brynlee on Sunday, the newest addition to the Poll family.
I am so happy for Jon and Julie and we love them so much.  I am so thankful that we can be part of their lives and see the love that they have and to see how happy Julie is.

After the blessing on Saturday we all went back to the Grandma GG's house and changed.  The girls and Jared headed to the strip to see the sights!
We stopped at the new City center and found some cool tide waves, ice pillars, and the other fun decorations.

We went to the Bellagio as well to see the glass blown flowers and to see the newest floral design.  It is a under the sea theme and was really awesome.
I hope these cute girls enjoyed it as much as I did.

We also found the largest chocolate fountain in the world! Hard to see with all the lights.

At the M&M factory we all watched the 3d movie.

Sidney was ready to take a bite.

After many hours on the strip we came back to the Gayler house for dinner and bed.  We haven't been on Las Vegas Blvd in a while so it was fun to see all the new sites.
