Calvin and Sidney's first haircut!

A few weeks ago we took Calvin and Sidney to get a much needed hair cut.  Calvin is 15 months and Sidney is almost four in this picture.  Sidney had a small tail of hair cut off at 1 year of age but never had an actual haircut since her hair doesn't grow very fast.  It is short now but actually looks really cute.  Hopefully it grows fast.

Calvin was such a good little guy.  He sad so still!

Sidney was so excited to sit in the chair.  The hair lady styled her hair really cute and Sidney a proud little girl for the rest of the day.

Camping in our new trailer!

This last weekend we went to Strawberry Reservoir with some friends and camped at Soldier Creek.  Saturday was free fishing day so we had to take advantage of that.  We camped with Danny, Rachel and their cute kiddos, Ethan and Madison and with a friend from work, Kim.
Danny and Rachel left earlier than planned due to an unexpected sickness.  We hope Madison is feeling better!

Madison, Ethan, and Sidney

Here is our new trailer.  Not the newest and fanciest but we love it!  No more tents for us!!

Kim, Sidney, Hagen, and Kaleigh

Hagen and Kaleigh on the dock waiting for the crayfish to take a little taste of their chicken bones.

Calvin and I fishing (not really, but calvin was having fun putting the pole in the water)
Sidney was really sad that we had caught the Crayfish and cooked them.  We kept asking her if she wanted one, but she wouldn't

Jared and Kim eating the crayfish that we caught.  Kim caught most of them with just the net.

Free Kittens!!

Princess Sarah had four little kittens on the 10th of May.  They are three weeks old and so stinking cute.  The kids love them.  Everyday they want to do nothing but hold and play with the kitties.  Thankfully we do have a gate keeping them in the laundry room other wise no one would leave them alone, especially Calvin.
We are still looking for a home for three of the kitties if anyone is interested.

They finally opened their eyes about a week ago and they are all over.

Last Week of School!! May 2012

It is officially the last week of school.  I was a little suprised to hear from both kids that they were sad school is out.  I am really excited when school starts but when school ends it is really nice not having to worry about homework and making it to school on time since that is a constant struggle with my schedule.  The last day of school was on the 31st of May from 8-9:30 am.  Here is a pix of when I dropped the kiddos off.

Here they are after they came home!

During the last week of school they always have a Dance Festival.  Hagen is the kid next to the teacher in blue.  He is wearing the long white shirt.  I lost my contact and couldn't see toowell so I was lucky to get this pix

Here is Kaleigh doing her dance.  Aunt Des took this pix for us.  After Kaleigh performed I went home to get some sleep.  Sidney was sick and Calvin was throwing a major fit becasue he wanted to sit on a bike that another little guy owned and was occupying at the moment.  I don't think we would have lasted much longer.

Aunt Des stayed at the school to listen to Olivia story that she had written so she went in to listen to Kaleigh's story as well.
We love Aunt Des!

Kaleigh's 8th Birthday!

Happy Birthday my sweet Kaleigh!  My oldest is officially 8!  She is waiting to be baptized with Olivia in September and is so excited.  I am so proud of Kaleigh and the kind of person that she has blossomed into.  She is the silliest, sweetest, and sassiest girl that I know.  She is the older sister who willingly takes on jobs and does things for the other kids to make life easier on Mom.  My life wouldn't be the same with out her.  I Love you Bug!
kaleigh wanted Monster High Dolls for her Birthday! Now I need to find the boy monster high dolls.

Here is Kaleigh and all her little friends eating pizza and chatting.

We played Red Rover.

Just hanging out! May 2012

After a crazy day, we got our pj's on and sat down to a Movie and popcorn.  We actually watched "We Bought A Zoo".  After an hour the kids fell asleep so Jared and I finished watching without them.  Cute Movie! I would recommend it to anyone.
Gotta have the popcorn!
I love watching Calvin as he get older and seeing how he changes and becomes more independent.
Calvin has discovered popcorn and he LOVES it!

On the 11th of May our cat "Princess Sarah" had 4 little kitties, 2 boys and 2 girls.  Now I have to find homes for these cute little things, not fun but one cat is enough for me.

Here is my cute little Calvin who has discovered the back yard and loves being outside.  He explores everything.  He loves the trampoline and to sit infront of the chicken coop and he jabbers at the chickens.  Soo cute.

I love it when they sleep!  So peaceful and after they have been tyrants all day, when I look at them sound asleep it makes me think that I can do it all over again.

Grandpa's steps & Mothers Day at Temple Square

One last trip to Dad/Sheldon's  house in Salt Lake.  We sold the house to a cute couple that plan on fixing it up and raising their family in it.  It has been in our family for so long so it was sad to have to say good bye but we know that it will be in good hands and will always cherish the memories and the people in our lives that loved this house.

A few weeks before Hagen turned one we were in the front yard of my dad's house.  He was having a yard sale. Hagen took a little tumble off the steps and cried for a few minutes.  On April 10th of 2007 Hagen had turned one.  We had a little party for him and Grandpa wrote a little card and this is what it said:
Dear Little Hagen:
It was very nice of you to come and help Grandpa with his yearly yard sale.  It was a little cold for you and the big fall down Grandpa's front steps was not a pleasing experience for you, but you cried a little and got up again.  So Congratulations.  And you Made it :)
Life is full of Grandpa's front steps.
Happy Birthday- The big one year
Grandpa S.L.C.

I will always remember and love this house and especially Grandpa's front steps.  Most of all I will remember and cherish the memories of the ones that we lost that truly loved this house.  I Love you Dad and I Love you Sheldon, give Jace a little kiss from his Aunt and tell him happy Birthday and that I love him!
We are going to miss this house.  It has been in the family for a long time but we are excited for the new owners.  We hope they love it as much as we do.
Calvin sitting on Grandpa's front steps

This bathtub is the reason for the trip to the house.  I hope Lance finds a spot in his front yard for it.

All the Grandkids sitting on the steps.

On Mothers Day we met up with Jared's family at Temple Square for a little stroll and to let all the kiddo's hang out.  Here are all the cousins .
