June 23rd, 2008- Baby Sidney

Here she is everyone!! Yea, my pregnancy is finally over, I love the kids but don't look forward to actually being pregnant.
She was born June 23rd, 2008.
Weighed 6 lb 11 Oz
18 inches long
Born at 7:53 AM
Name: Sidney Marie Smith
Sidney had a little trouble breathing on her own. She spent about an hour under the oxygen tent until she could finally breath better.
Kaleigh wanted to hold Sidney the entire time. Hagen was scared. At the end of the night he would finally hold her for about 2 seconds, then he said "no baby, no baby".
Jared is a proud father, he is looking forward to having this little one sleeping on his chest.

Here we are, all finished and happy.

Jared's parents and little Sidnay.

June 19, 2008- 4 Days to go!!

I only have 4 days to go. I have tried not to be too photogenic, so I don't have a picture of how big my belly is now. For those who are wondering, we are scheduled for Monday morning, the 23rd. This baby could share a birthday with Sarah!! If you are interested in viewing the birth it will be at 7 AM at Orem Community Hospital. If not I completely understand, I am glad they put a curtain up so I can't see anything. We'll keep everyone posted and I am crossing my fingers that this little one decides to come early like my other two kids.

June 19, 2008- June Updates

I couldn't remember the last time I posted anything. June hasn't been such an eventful month. We have just tried to take it easy and not do too much. I attached a some pictures of a few exciting events that have occured so far.
Kaleigh had her Fun School Graduation. If we are still in our basement apartment in August we will enroll her to attend the preschool that Westmore Elementary offers. She is extremely excited but thinks she is going to be able to ride a bus to school (I haven't had the heart to tell her that since we live two blocks away from the school, she doesn't get to ride on a school bus).
Cute little Hagen. This is my little guy who keeps me going. He has a very out going personality. I love the fact that he is so active and is very independent. He is always dirty and doesn't like it when I try to keep him clean. If he isn't running around and going crazy he is teasing someone, usually Kaleigh or the dog. He keeps me on my toes every waking moment. Little Kaleigh is my child who has some type of tramatic injury once every two weeks. I don't know how she manages. One day she actually shut her big toe in the car door. In the picture below she was running in her bedroom and ran into a open dresser drawer. Luckly it was just a really bad scrape and we didn't have to get stitches.
My cute little family. This picture was taken on Fathers Day. We didn't get up early enough to make Jared breakfast in bed so when Dad came home from counting tithing we had a lunch ready. However, the kids helped dad eat his entire banana and most of the chips.
