Thanksgiving with Family

We were able to spend the day of thanks with my side of the family.  We didn't have big plans but had fun eating and hanging out.

Nov. 12, 2016- Butch Cassidy 5k and Zions

Butch Cassidy 5k in Springdale Utah.

This was our first time running this race and was such a fun race.  It was really cold when we started but it didn't take long to warm up.  The race ended in a little ghost town in Grafton, Utah.

We didn't get pictures of everyone finishing the race but we did get a few.

I loved spending time and running with everyone.  It is definitely a race that I wouldn't mind running again.

After the Race we cleaned up and went for a quick peak into zions.

We didn't have a lot time. Only a few hours.  So we chose one the last hike, Riverside walk.

We didn't make it to the end before we had to head back but what we did see was amazing.

Nov. 11, 2016- Hagen's Violin Parent Concert

Hagen has had the opportunity to learn the Violin for the past two years during music class.

We don't have a violin at home, even though Hagen would love one.  He was so excited for Mom to watch him play and to see how he has improved.

Nov. 7, 2016- 5th Grade Clear Creek overnighter

All 5th graders at Westmore Elementary have the opportunity to participate in an over niter at Clear Creek.  It is almost the most exciting thing they do all year.  The boys go one night and then the girls go another night.

Hagen was so excited to go and was even more excited that his dad, Jared, was able to chaperone the over niter.

October 31, 2016- Halloween

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is a holiday that we look forward to every year.  The kids had decided on what they wanted to be awhile ago.  It was just a matter of putting it all together.

He doesn't last long when it comes to trick or treating.  He is out for maybe twenty minutes 

and then tells Kaleigh he is ready to come back home to evaluate his candy.

These cute kids came to my work halloween party as well.  They played fun games and they were able to trick or treat with the residents in the facility.
