April 2014- Hagen baptism and Easter

I am a little behind on updating our blog.  Many months behind.  I am attempting to catch up and hopefully I can stay caught up.

This was a special month.  Hagen was baptized and he was so excited for it to finally happen.

I attempted to make a creeper face from mine craft with chocolate.  Didn't turn out as well as I would have like but Hagen knew what it was.

I love these cute boys.  Sammy, Hagen, and Weston all did Joy school together and have been in some of the same classes in school and they got to spend Hagen's baptism day together.

The Easter bunny has arrived to four happy kiddos! 

Jared also turned 35 this month!  Happy birthday to him.  He definitely enjoyed his pie.

Grandma Smith and Misc. Pix- March 2014

This is the last post for the month of March.  On the 1st March Jared's Grandma Smith was buried at the Logan cemetery.  She was 103 when she passed.  I am glad to know that she will be joining her loved ones.

Calvin is three! March 10, 2014!

Happy Birthday Calvin!  You are growing too fast!  You'll have to ignore all the underware pictures.  Calvin will only wear clothes if we are going somewhere but the minute we walk into the door everything comes off except for the undies. 

My handsome little Calvin turned three!  This little guy doesn't talk much but the one word he does say is "Batman".  It was only fitting to get him a batman cake.

Team SJ Spectrum 10- March 2014

In honor of Sheldon and Jace we will be running the spectrum 10k every year in the month of March.  This is a great opportunity to celebrate their lives as a family.

I beat my time by about five minutes from last time.  I was tired and sore but it was a good run.



After the 10k we went back to the house we were staying at, cleaned up, and then got ready to bbq and hang out.

 Before we went home we went to red rock and hiked around the rocks.  It was a nice sunny day and I was a little sad that we had to go back to the cold.

February 2014

I am finally posting all my pix for Feb. and March so brace yourselves. 

In February my little brother Matthew married Sheena in the Logan temple.  It is beautiful!  We had a lot of fun being with family and celebrating Matt and Sheena's beginning as husband and wife.

 I have been in the cub scout as a den leader for about two years now and I love it!  I don't ever want to be released.  This year for the Blue and Gold Banquet we did a Cubstruction theme.  We had sack lunches, awards, a cake exchange, and did our rain gutter regatta race.  Hagen is still seven but will officially be a scout on the 10th of April.  So excited for him.  We had a fun night!

For Hagen's cake exchange he made a smore cake.  It has a graham cracker crust, white cake with wht frosting for the marchmallow and the top has Hershey syrup drizzling down the sides with Hershey candy bars on top.
It looked amazing and Hagen did a great job.

Misc January 2014 pictures

I though that I had updated the blog and now that I look at it I am just realizing that I just added the pix and didn't do anything other that save a draft.   2013 has been a busy year and I can only imagine that 2014 will be even busier.  I don't have any resolutions other than to enjoy my family and to always do my best.  I have a great family and amazing friends that I am so thankful for, I am a lucky girl.  The pictures I am posting for the month of January are just random but they are of my cute kids so that is all that matters.

Kaleigh got her hair cut to her shoulders and bangs!  Kind of an adjustment for me but it is very cute!

Cute little Sid had her hair trimmed.  He hair is so cute cut as it is that we continued on with the cuteness.

I love this pix! Calvin was soo sleepy and I was right in the middle of something and told him I couldn't snuggle him.  He very sadly left me alone and fell asleep snuggling with his very proud big sister.  This little guy is spoiled!

This year Kaleigh was in it and also her cousin Olivia.  Kaleigh was part of the Lullaby League and Olivia was part of the Lollipop Guild.  They did awesome!

Christmas Festivities - December 2013

This year has been somewhat crazy with me starting a new job and my schedule and everything else that we do during the busy month of December.

Christmas Eve
I had to work on Christmas eve :( so before I left for work we did our normal Christmas eve tradition of reading the story of Jesus' birth, hot chocolate, and Christmas pajamas

 The day after Christmas we went to Temple Square to see the lights.

We walked to city creek and checked out some of the stores and then went to Temple Square to see the lights.  We enjoyed all the color and how beautiful it was.
