Hee Haws- Oct. 9, 2014

Hee Haws!
Every year we get invited to a customer appreciation night at Hee Haws by Amilynn who sold our Dad's houses in Salt Lake City.  The kids love it!  It is perfect for a fun evening and we look forward to it every year.  We met up with Des and Olivia and also invited to Felix family to join us as well.

Fire Station- Preschool field trip activity Oct. 8, 2014

Fire Station Open House
For a field trip for the cute little preschool kids we went to the annual Fire Station open house.  It was a lot of fun for the kids to get to see the ambulances, fire trucks, and emergency vehicles up close.
We have just gotten our hats and badges, stocked up on the popcorn and cotton candy and now we are ready to go.
Bina, Camilla, Jessa, Calvin, Max, Pace, and Kam
(Camilla, Jessa, Calvin, and Max are the four kiddos doing the parent based preschool)
Calvin had a succor in his mouth and he couldn't quite decide which he should hold onto the succor or the hose.
We had front row seat for the fire demonstration.  Only problem was that when the hose turned on above our heads the wind decided to shift and the water started spraying everyone.  The kids all started crying.
I was trying to get a pix of all the kiddos in the life flight helicopter.  Too many shadows but they thought it was fun to actually get in.
All these kiddos are waiting for their turn in the smoke room.
They learned about not drinking any hazardous liquids that may be stored under the sink, not touching hot surfaces or pans on a stove, and also about crawling under the smoke during the fire. I was quite impressed that they actually payed attention while the guy was talking.
They were able to explore and emergency vehicle that transports supplies
These two little boys are the best of friends.
Not only do they live next door to each other, they spend so much time together and they get a long so well.  All day at the fire station they both were so concerned where the other person was.
We are ready to go home.  All buckled in and sporting their new hats!

Corn Bellys- October 2, 2014

 Kaleigh, Sidney, Hagen and Calvin
We took all the kiddos to Corn Bellys for a fun evening.
We had a blast.  The kids loved all the fun activities and couldn't get enough.

Rrr Matey!! September 2014

September 19th was talk like a pirate day.  We love that Krispy Kreme makes a big deal of it.
Calvin and I went to Krispy Kreme dressed as pirates and also talked like a pirate and we each got a free dozen donuts.
I had to post this since it is super funny.  On the 2nd of October was parent teacher conferences.  Everyone is doing great.
Hagen wrote a letter to his dad, Jared, and this is what he wrote (he told the teacher that he calls his dad, "game", but he really doesn't).
The funny thing is that he didn't know how to ride his bike until this past August when we actually grounded him from playing video games until he knew how to ride his bike.
Totally made my day.

August 2014- Flaming Gorge Dam Tour

On our last day of camping the clouds finally cleared up.  It was still cold but at least it wasn't raining anymore.  We had originally planned on going down the Green River and taking to the kids to Flaming Gorge for a little water time but instead it was cold and rainy.
We decided to take a little drive to dam to show the kids and was able to get a tour.
The kids thought it was pretty cool to look down at all the fish and of course the dam.

Hagen, Heidi, Sidney, and Matthew taking in the view.
Calvin and Jared checking out the view.

Sheena and Matthew
I just love that we all stood next to the fish food sign as if we are fish food

Looks like they actually like each other.

All except for Calvin who refused to be in the picture.

August 2013- Family Campout

Family camping trip at Red Cloud Loop near Vernal, Utah.  Every year someone has a turn to plan the campout.  This year it was Matthew and Sheena's turn.  As it always does it poured almost the whole time.  We had fun playing games and just hanging out.
You would think that the big yellow van would have enough guts to make it out of its parking spot.  It doesn't, thanks to Tanner and his awesome truck both trailer and van were pulled to safety.
Ily, Heidi, Holly, and Sheena playing in the mud!
The kiddos enjoyed playing games.  Calvin wanted to join in even though he didn't know what he was doing.  As long as he was involved with the big kids.
my cute husband!
Our Shanty town.  It poured and poured so we built an enclosure to shield us from the rain.
Holly doing the bathroom dance.
My Calvin wanted to play outside as much as possible.  (that is not a bloody nose-it's his injury from the treadmill all scabbed up)
Ily, Olivia, and Grandpa Paul playing games.
It had finally stopped pouring rain so we were finally were able to start a fire and roast some mallows.  YaY!
Tanner and Holly, just hanging out.
Mom and Suggy.

August 2014- First Day of School

First day of school for these cute kiddos.  They were excited and so was mom.
Kaleigh is in 5th grade and her teacher is Mrs. Topham.
Hagen is in 3rd grade and his teacher is Mrs. Rodin.
Sidney is in 1st grade and her teacher is Mrs. Heap.
I love these kiddos and I love that they are excited for school and to learn.
After the school on the first day we always have a treat and everyone tells me about their day.  Sidney ended up at Camilla's house and I ended up with Olivia.  Overall they all had a great day and really liked their teacher.  Sidney came home an hour later and talked non stop about her day and absolutely loves her teacher.
After school pictures!
Cutest kids ever!
