Last Week of School!- May 2015

It's the last week of school.  Why is it that after a long summer we cant wait for these cute kiddos to go back to school but when it comes to the end of school it can come sooner?  The last week is always the busiest. 
The always have a dance festival and authors fair within the last week.

For the authors fair Hagen's class did some play's.  Hagen was a turtle from Aesop's fables.

Kaleigh read my a story about a snowy owl.

Sid wrote about her California trip.

 

The last day is finally here.  The kiddos went to school from 8-9:30 am and did the last of what they needed to do.  They all came home at different times since they were so excited that this day had finally arrived and they wanted to play with friends.

Sid and Hagen were the first to arrive.  Moments later Hagen was off to a friends house.

Kaleigh stayed at the school with Diana and her mom (Diana's mom teaches at the school).  They helped some of the teachers move items into new classrooms and then finally decided to come home.

We are excited for summer to finally be here!!!

 Now that school is out and it is finally starting to rain less it's time for camping in the back yard.  The girls had a sleepover with friends and Hagen slept elsewhere.  It was just Dad and Calvin so they set up the tent and camped in the back yard.

Summer is also the start of baseball.  This year Hagen is doing machine pitch baseball.  He does well and is learning how the catch and hit the ball.  He is playing an actual game even though they don't keep score.
