Grandpa's steps & Mothers Day at Temple Square

One last trip to Dad/Sheldon's  house in Salt Lake.  We sold the house to a cute couple that plan on fixing it up and raising their family in it.  It has been in our family for so long so it was sad to have to say good bye but we know that it will be in good hands and will always cherish the memories and the people in our lives that loved this house.

A few weeks before Hagen turned one we were in the front yard of my dad's house.  He was having a yard sale. Hagen took a little tumble off the steps and cried for a few minutes.  On April 10th of 2007 Hagen had turned one.  We had a little party for him and Grandpa wrote a little card and this is what it said:
Dear Little Hagen:
It was very nice of you to come and help Grandpa with his yearly yard sale.  It was a little cold for you and the big fall down Grandpa's front steps was not a pleasing experience for you, but you cried a little and got up again.  So Congratulations.  And you Made it :)
Life is full of Grandpa's front steps.
Happy Birthday- The big one year
Grandpa S.L.C.

I will always remember and love this house and especially Grandpa's front steps.  Most of all I will remember and cherish the memories of the ones that we lost that truly loved this house.  I Love you Dad and I Love you Sheldon, give Jace a little kiss from his Aunt and tell him happy Birthday and that I love him!
We are going to miss this house.  It has been in the family for a long time but we are excited for the new owners.  We hope they love it as much as we do.

This bathtub is the reason for the trip to the house.  I hope Lance finds a spot in his front yard for it.

On Mothers Day we met up with Jared's family at Temple Square for a little stroll and to let all the kiddo's hang out.  Here are all the cousins .
